Adaptive Office Solutions is an IT Solution that provides Cybersecurity, Cloud, Hardware and Remote/Onsite Services to clients throughout Atlantic Canada. Network administrators are responsible for assisting with requirements analysis, proposing solutions, and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
Overview
Performs network administration & planning for all aspects of IT-network infrastructure – to include network equipment, servers, and software applications. Delivers reliable, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions for all IT related needs.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot networks, servers and computer workstations
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and related software problems
- Resolve incoming technical support tickets
- Collaborate with other team members to design and implement best solutions
- Provide contact with customers to ensure technical issues are resolved
- Troubleshoot PCs, laptops and network devices;
- Ensure all information related to the company remains confidential, which includes ensuring our network’s security is always protected
- Travel within Atlantic Canada will be required
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Self-learner with excellent problem solving skills
- Windows Server
- Windows Active Directory
- Virtualization (Microsoft Hyper-V & VMWare) including Physical to Virtual Migrations
- Knowledge of Antivirus and Backup Solutions
- Router / VPN
- Microsoft Office applications including Office365 And Google Workspace
- Relevant certifications, MCSE, MCITP, etc.
- Knowledge of Sage / Quickbooks is an asset
- Must have a car and a valid drivers license
- Familiarity with Network Cabling
